Kenosha deputy fatally shot by illegal alien

FabianoWISN Milwaukee reports that Kenosha Deputy Frank Fabiano, Jr. was killed during a routine traffic stop by a suspect named Ezequiel Lopez. Deputy Fabiano was trying to pull over a red Chevrolet Astro van near the University of Wisconsin-Parkside campus at about 11:37 p.m. Wednesday when he was shot once in the face, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.

LopezAfter an intense manhunt, police arrested Ezequiel Lopez, who was hiding behind cars and was still armed. According to Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth, Lopez had eight aliases and at least five social security numbers.

Fabiano, an 18-year veteran of the force, received a silver star from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department for rescuing someone from a burning building in Paddock Lake in 1991. He also received a purple heart in 1991 after getting shot in Paddock Lake. He is survived by his wife and 7-year-old daughter.

The report does not explicitly state that Lopez is an illegal. How do we know? Because of Lopez’s many social security numbers.

Though criminals of all kinds often use multiple aliases, multiple social security numbers are the distinctive hallmark of illegal aliens. Illegals, who cannot obtain a legitimate social security number, often spread their taxable income across multiple bogus social security numbers. By dividing their income into many small portions, none of which is significant enough to come under IRS scrutiny, and by frequently abandoning one bogus number for another, illegals can cover their trails, and fly ”under the radar” of authorities for years, often indefinitely.

American citizens and legal aliens, by contrast, have little incentive to use this technique. While it can theoretically be used by anyone for small-scale tax evasion, larger incomes declared under false or stolen social security numbers will indeed raise eyebrows at the IRS. More importantly, by declaring income under a false number, one forfeits the social security benefits one has earned. In short, the use of multiple phony numbers only makes sense if one has low income, moves around a lot, and does not ever plan to come forward and claim social security benefits—in other words, if one is an illegal alien.

By the way: you may be wondering how people like Lopez, who can’t get legitimate social security cards, manage to function in American society. The answer is simple: with the blessing of lawmakers who are doing everything in their power to prevent enforcement of existing immigration laws, many private and public agencies—from banks to welfare offices to car dealers—are accepting the “matricula consular” as an alternative form of ID card. The matricula, which is issued by Mexican consulates in the U.S., is notoriously easy to obtain under a false name from corrupt Mexican officials, who will gladly bend the rules for a few bucks.

As we reported in a previous post, the Rockford Red Cross is aiding and abetting this process by allowing a mobile Mexican consulate to set up shop in Red Cross offices. Whoever issued Lopez his many cards now has the blood of Deputy Fabiano on his hands. Kind of makes you wonder: was it someone in the Red Cross office? Did your contribution to the Red Cross help to finance Lopez’s murderous stay in the U.S.? Stay tuned… if we find out, we’ll let you know.

I wonder why the newspaper didn’t say that the perp is an illegal alien. What a mystery…
