Illinois student loan bill excludes illegal aliens
Lawmakers, by definition, are supposed to uphold the law. But in today’s political climate, when they do just that with regard to illegal aliens, it’s “news.â€Â So we’re reporting on a fortunate event in the Illinois State Senate last week.
State Senator Martin Sandoval (D-Chicago) had originally proposed a plan to help low-income Illinoisans go to college. Sandoval’s plan specifically included illegal aliens. As he put it, “We need to continue sending a message to all students in Illinois, regardless of their legal status, that they should have an opportunity . . . to finance an education for themselves.â€Â (Think about the phrase “regardless of their legal status,†and apply it anywhere else: “Drivers, regardless of their legal status, should be able to register their vehicles at the DMV quickly and conveniently.†– Sounds nice, but it means that if you happen to possess a car by stealing it instead of buying it, the DMV should still issue you a title and registration papers.)
Sandoval reluctantly changed his plan to exclude illegals, and the Senate passed it.
This is a positive step, but all is still far from well with the Illinois educational system. Illegal aliens who live here still get in-state tuition. This means that illegals are treated preferentially over American citizens who live on the other side of the state line.
Why do we allow illegal aliens to study at our universities at all? American citizens pay taxes to fund these institutions. Yet many of these very same Americans are denied entry to them—for whatever reasons—while those who pay no taxes, who occupy our neighborhoods like a foreign army, bastardize our culture, and depress our standard of living are ushered in like royalty. What’s wrong with this picture?

Watch this one closely as the elitists will continue to push until Illegal alien children get in-state tuition, grants and everything that US citizen children do not get! In Texas, we have built bridges so the (few) kids left in Mexico can cross and get educated at US taxpayer expense, Satellite universities have been built along the border, and junior colleges are built across from Mexican inhabited high schools. We are educating the population of Mexico and South America - 95% of the kids in our middle schools are Hispanic, Breakfast, lunch and dinner, pre-school and summer programs - all for Mexicans (underprivileged kids) at the US taxpayers expense.
