A few weeks after a scheduled meeting of the Illinois Minuteman Project at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn was shut down by police and Hispanic activist strongarming, another immigration conference is now being planned in the same town. Only this time, it will be for pro-immigration activists. Will the same thing happen to them? Not a chance.

 

As the Northwest Herald reports, Salvador Cicero, a Chicago attorney and immigration advocate, will speak to a meeting of a McHenry County “peace” group at the McHenry County College Center on September 13th.

 

Any chance that any of the powers-that-be will try to shut the meeting down? Don’t hold your breath! After all, the Crystal Lake Police Department has been known to send its officers to Mexico for “sensitivity” training. You can bet they’ll be “sensitive” to any attempt to promote the increased influx of Mexicans into our country, including a how-to and rah-rah presentation by Mr. Cicero.
