ACTION ALERT
Support Illinois HB5756 - Deport Illegal Alien Felons
HB 5756 is such a good bill it’s hard to understand why anyone would be against it. Essentially, it is designed to ensure that illegal alien felons are deported once they’ve served their time. This is to be accomplished by requiring State authorities to notify and coordinate activities with ICE when an illegal alien is about to be released from prison.
Nonetheless, the bill has powerful enemies: those who want to dilute our nationhood and our culture with as many non-Americans as possible—even if they’re violent felons! Sadly, there are many such individuals in the Illinois legislature.
Currently, the bill is stalled in the Illinois House Rules Committee. Its enemies, of course, want it to die there. Want to help? Here’s what you can do:
- Keep abreast of the status of the bill by checking the official State Legislature Web site.
- Contact the rules committee members (preferably by phone or snail mail as opposed to e-mail and voice your support for the bill
- Ask you state rep. to support the bill.
